Building a better future, sustainably
At Peregrine, we're taking a big step towards a circular economy for our foam product range with the introduction of our new 25% recycled and 100% recyclable foam!
For years, high-valued components have relied on non-recyclable, single-use foams for protection. Now, after completing an extensive Pit Lane Sustainability Project with a major F1 team, we're thrilled to offer a solution that's now recyclable without loss of protection performance.
Our new foam offers a circular economy option for packaging and protecting components, while also being versatile and ideal for all protective packaging applications. Unlike traditional foams that vary in protection properties based on orientation, our recyclable foam provides consistent performance in any direction.
Breathe Easy with Our Sustainable Foam Range
We are proud to introduce our highly resilient closed-cell material made from expanded polyethylene (EPE) bead foam, which is 100% recyclable. This innovative product is perfect for packaging and transportation of valuable goods.
Our PCR foam contains 25% recycled material and can be fully recycled, making it an eco-friendly choice for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint. This material offers excellent shock absorption and repeated shock resistance, making it ideal for packaging and protecting delicate or sensitive goods.
In addition to its impressive performance, PCR foam is also lighter and safer than other packaging options, thanks to its optimal density. It is also chemically inert and free of harmful chemicals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it safe for use in various applications.
This material has very good isothermal properties and is stable from -60 to 100 C, making it suitable for use in a range of temperatures. It is an isotropic block material, meaning it has the same energy absorption across all three planes. This multidirectional performance makes it ideal for protective packaging applications, as it protects surface-sensitive or painted goods from damage.
At Peregrine ML, we use PCR foam to make load carriers, CKD (Complete Knock Down) packaging, structural packaging, inserts, and die-cut products. Whether you are looking for a sustainable and effective solution for packaging and cushioning or a material that offers excellent thermal management, our PCR foam has you covered.
We are confident that our PCR foam will meet and exceed your expectations, so why not try it out today? If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you!
