About the Role
The primary responsibility of the Supply Chain / Procurement Manager is to manage inventory, manage supply sources, and to purchase materials and services to support manufacturing and the anticipated demand utilising our ERP system. Core duties include reducing procurement spend, building relationships with suppliers and administering relevant documentation, from purchase requests, through to expediting for on time delivery.
Accountabilities
• Deliver the company's supply chain strategy.
• Analyse data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
• Chair weekly purchasing meeting.
• Evaluate and report on KPIs.
• Maintain supply chain inventory and records.
• Always sourcing the most economical costs.
• Sourcing environmentally friendly solutions.
• Administration of the ERP system.
• Administration of stock control.
• Supplier relations.
• Create and maintain business process documents to conform with Quality Management system.
• Maintain supplies of consumables.
• Data responsibilities, including GDPR.
• Make sure all deliverables arrive in good order, on time, and fulfil customers’ requirements.
• Take initiatives in identifying operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with our team to achieve sustainable growth.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
• ERP/MRP experience required.
• Good understanding and experience of supply chain activities.
• Strong motivated mindset with a proven track record of managing day to day responsibilities.
• A strong analytic skill set with the ability to interpret data.
• Be able to work to strict deadlines.
• General understanding of industry standards and regulations in order to ensure guidelines are followed.
• Strong PC skills.
• Ability to fully contribute to the process of continuous improvements.
• Good understanding of working in similar high technology environment.
• Outstanding planning and organisational skills.
